Better in The Morning
I’m living a double life since you went away
Every night I drink you away but yet you stay
Your ghost shows up more with every spirit that I drink
I wish I could be more like what you want instead I think
Think about all the things I used to be for you,
How what I gave was more than what you could imagine to be true
But maybe I could never get the gig at all
Because every time I did for you, you only waited for the fall
Everyone says I’ve made up what we really were
Says you were nothing but a roadblock I just needed to clear
It’s so easy letting go, when you’re not the one to fall
Maybe that’s why they warn you not to risk it all
Think about all the things I used to be for you,
How what I gave was more than what you could imagine to be true
But maybe I could never get the gig at all
Because every time I did for you, you only waited for the fall
Every night I’ll try to use the drink to cure the pain,
and every morning I’ll pretend that everything’s okay,
but a hopeless case I know is all I’ve ever been, my heart in your hands and I’m begging you to win
And loving you is like a story that will never end.
Think about all the things I used to be for you,
How what I gave was more than what you could imagine to be true
But maybe I could never get the gig at all
Because every time I did for you, you only waited for the fall
I guess it’s my mistake for having ever loved at all.
Every night I drink you away but yet you stay
Your ghost shows up more with every spirit that I drink
I wish I could be more like what you want instead I think
Think about all the things I used to be for you,
How what I gave was more than what you could imagine to be true
But maybe I could never get the gig at all

I'd Rather Lose You Than My Phone!!
1. At the store the other day/ I set my phone down for a second /following that I had a moments terror /the extent of which I never reckoned/ 2. I asked a lady so embarrassed/ help I lost my phone it's the truth/ she looked at me funny but called my number/ I heard that ringtone at the courtesy booth/ (spoken)/ listen to that ringtone 2-3 people said "I remember that show!!, some guy is lighting a fuse! Good ringtone when you have a dysfunctional or datfunctional marriage/ 3. my phone keeps my grocery list and pays my bills / it knows everything I know / I can delete what I want to/ how'd I survive without this gizmo? / 4. Sometimes sweeties don't sound alike / words that rhyme my phone's got em all day/ but when it comes to disharmonic love my device don't have much to say / 5. It's slim and it looks good / it stays quietly in my jeans/ I can turn the volume down when I want/ it forgets my mistakes and it knows what I mean/ 6. Oh honey you know I love you / just blowing steam I don't mean nuttin/ boy if my spouse reads this I'm surely dead / oh crud by mistake I hit the send button / (spoken) but you know what, my phone does more for me than my spouse , sometimes I think I'd rather lose you than my phone...oh, what's that noise, I got a new text, what the heck is this? Alexa, what do "divorce" and "alimony" mean? Next year I'll be filing my taxes under filing status 1, not 2?
Now They Believe the Same
Now They Believe the Same
Verse
They said seeing was believing, and so they went their way
But they never really stopped to look and see
That which happened all around them in the life they threw away
As they grasped at what they thought they ought to be
Chorus
Now they believe the same, as those who live in heaven
Now they call out the Name, that’s worshiped up on high
And now they feel the shame that could have been forgiven
And wash away by the Blood, before the time to die.
Verse
Much too easy in the world which their Creator made
To pretend that God held nothing in His hand
The gifts that He had given them caused their belief to fade
And they placed their faith in castles built on sand
Verse
Hell has only the believing, no pride there makes them blind
What others saw by faith, now they see by sight
The Saviour that had come for them, the Hope they left behind
Their sight fumbles in the darkness as faith walks in His Light

cartoon box
i knocked at your door before noon
hands shakin’, movin' my leg in the air
& nobody answered
I use to always see someone
walk down the hall to open the door through a little hole
but nobody was here this time
saw you in the window
peakin’ roughly under a blind
only seein’ your blue eyes I got after you
and somehow I beam
thought you’d come and open
only saw the blind cuttin' off my vision of you
thought this was my chance but you weren’t comin'
after three, four, five minutes
so I walked away
with my head down
movin' out of your heart wasn’t easy
movin' out your heart with a little cartoon box
wasn’t easy
but I did it and I’m not proud out of it
and I hope I can move in there again
with smiles on our faces and a hug
and I wanna love you both
but will you allow it?
will you allow it?
I can hand you another try
hope you won’t waste it
my boyfriend stays at my home everyday
but I don’t feel safe without my real home
he always plays the Lenker song I love
but that and even his smiles don’t cheer me up sometimes
watch him laugh with myself on a sofa
looking tired
I just wanna be in your house
in your heart
pumping blood and my love in your veins
I moved out but what can I say
I love you anyway
understandin' is hard to find
at shops these days
and I get it you don’t have it
just know
no matter what
I love you anyway
but i still moved out
hands shakin’, movin' my leg in the air
& nobody answered
I use to always see someone
walk down the hall to open the door through a little hole
but nobody was here this time

Alone with my thoughts
Alone with my thoughts
Thinking what have I become
A sense of understanding
As to why I've become numb.
Depending on the outlook
Some could say I'm doing well
But living in isolation is like
My very own private hell
Poor decisions on my part
Feeling some type of way
Depression rears its ugly head
Looks like this time it's here to stay
Yeah, I'm waiting in this place
For the day to finally come,
When I vacate this space
And pay the final sum.
Silence hangs in the air,
The beauty I cannot see.
Killing time with a stare,
In a room without a key.
Thoughts circle my mind,
Like a merry-go-round.
Joy, I can no longer find.
Only misery I have found.
What will become of me?
Can my sorry soul ever be saved?
Or will I take the road to hell,
The one that I have paved.
There's four walls around me
I'm trapped in this damn cage
Unable to escape my thoughts
Praying I don't die from old age.
I'm sorry for my sins
I've had a lot of time to think
And if only I could go back now
I'd have given up the drink
Now
I'm waiting in this place
For the day to finally come,
When I vacate this space
And pay the final sum.
Silence hangs in the air,
The beauty I cannot see.
Killing time with a stare,

Reflection Bleeds
(Intro)
The irony is cruel.
I can make anyone believe anything, except myself.
I can't even deceive myself into thinking I'm not trapped.
That I'm not a monster.
But the truth is, we're cursed.
Bound to this idol life,
Feeding on human adoration to survive.
It's a prison with spotlights.
(Pre-Chorus)
As the leader, I carry the heaviest burden.
Every smile I fake, every performance... it drains me.
But I have to stay strong for them.
(Chorus)
Everyone says I'm the 'angel' of the group
'Cause I'm always smiling.
But... there are things about me
You should probably know.
The hardest part is pretending
To be happy on stage
When inside I'm screaming.
Every performance chips away
At what's left of my soul.
(Verse 1)
Most people just consume the music
Without hearing the screams
Hidden in the metaphors.
But the curse twisted it.
Now every lie I tell, every deception I craft,
Feeds the very chains that bind me.
Each song we perform feeds the curse.
The more popular we become,
The stronger our chains.
I'm literally writing our own imprisonment
Verse by verse.
(Pre-Chorus)
My power lets me create illusions,
Make people believe anything.
(Chorus)
Everyone says I'm the 'angel' of the group
'Cause I'm always smiling.
But... there are things about me
You should probably know.
The hardest part is pretending
To be happy on stage
When inside I'm screaming.
Every performance chips away
At what's left of my soul.
(Verse 2)
But lately, something’s shifting in the silence —
The crowd’s cheers don’t sound the same.
Behind the blinding lights, I see their faces blur,
Like reflections in a cracked mirror.
Maybe the curse isn’t just ours.
Maybe they’re trapped too —
Chasing perfection, worshipping illusions,
Never seeing the blood beneath the glitter.
I start to wonder —
If I stop pretending, if I let them see the truth,
Would the chains break... or tighten?
Would they still call me “angel,”
If they saw the demon beneath the wings?
(Bridge)
The stage lights dim — and I can finally breathe.
No more masks, no more mercy.
If I rip these smiles apart,
Will I find what’s left of me?
The screams echo like prayers denied,
Faith and fame — both crucified.
If this is what it means to shine,
Then maybe I was never divine.
(Final Chorus)
Everyone calls me the “angel” of the group,
But angels burn, too.
This halo’s just a noose of gold,
Tightening with every truth I told.
The hardest part was pretending,
That I still believed.
Now I see the truth reflected,
In every tear I’ve deceived.
(Outro)
So when the curtains close tonight,
Don’t clap — just listen.
To the silence between the beats,
Where the devil learned to pray.
The irony is cruel.
I can make anyone believe anything, except myself.
I can't even deceive myself into thinking I'm not trapped.

Static prose
There are things still left to say
Where has all the feeling gone
Is there light beneath the sound
Or do echoes carry on
Feelings rise just trying to breathe
Then dissolve inside the noise
Every silence sold away
Every wound reduced to choice
And depending on the production, it could lean toward anthemic alternative rock.

Mental health
TITLE (Mental Health)
Verse 1
Mental health problems yes I do have,
Sit in silence unable to speak to my dad,
My dad passed away when I was young,
I don't want this same problem to happen to my daughters or son.
Chorus
Leave me alone,
I just want to heel,
It's nothing personal,
It's just how I feel.
Verse 2
My illness I suffer from many symptoms,
Don't wanna talk to anyone cause they can only just listen,
Keep explaining the problems over again,
To the same people it gets very very annoying,
Boring also keep repeating myself,
It just makes it worse to my mental health.
Chorus
Leave me alone,
I just want to heel,
It's nothing personal,
It's just how I feel.
Verse 3
There's no help out that can make me feel better,
With so many problems I can express in this letter,
I've worked all my life but now only get universal credit,
This doesn't even cover my rent or any direct debits,
Bills, phone calls, letters and emails are constant,
With no job, income or money I'd rather they'd forgotten,
Forgotten will not happen in the day and age,
Inside my system it causes outrage.
Chorus
Leave me alone,
I just want to heel,
It's nothing personal,
It's just how I feel.
Verse 4
Don't want to talk to anyone or go outside,
It's nothing personal id just rather hide,
Hiding in silence is the only treatment for me,
A few weeks or 3 pass by and then I become me,
This is far from easy as it may sound,
If not left alone il just hit the ground,
I suffer from panic attacks, anxiety, depression, S.a.d and stress,
I could go on and tell you the rest.
Them problems above seem enough for me,
Which Is what I don't want my children to see.
Chorus
Leave me alone,
I just want to heel,
It's nothing personal,
It's just how I feel.
Verse 5
The energy, drive and passion you had,
Has all faded away which all seems so sad,
Constantly sleeping, Tiredness, headaches, moods and long face,
Around me is just not the right place,
This can't be only happening to me and living in fear,
Speak up people for the world to hear.

Old school fist new school kiss
I wanna be me but need a change
Sometimes I hit some things I miss
Taking my time gotta get this right
Old school fist with a new school kiss
My head is pulled in different directions
I know what is right and wrong
But these days the lines are so blurred
Good stay silent while the bad talk long
I wanna quit it all and start brand new
Groundhog has me stressed all day
Only sleep two hours each night
There’s got to be a better way
I know who I am but second guess
What I think and feel
Blessed life that I curse all the time
Is my heart broken or head not real
Sometimes I don’t get what you and I do
I love all people but they make me mad
Because all we do is judge and hurt
Our worlds problems make me sad
And it’s always the same
What are we to do
Head down move on
History is back now we rue
Except the haves
They just laugh and sue
Sometimes I hit some things I miss
Taking my time gotta get this right
Old school fist with a new school kiss
My head is pulled in different directions
I know what is right and wrong

Cupidon
Couplet 1
Refrain

Pont

Too quiet.
Too loud.

Too rich in thought.
Too poor in arms.
Too stubborn in wanting to make a change
Too exhausted to realize it's just bottled rage.
Too obsessed with desire.
Too comfortably caged.

Pocket God
[verse]
what will i do
of the distance
when i need u in my pockets?
talking to the walls is a new
pastime and i'm getting good at it
i put a bet on my life
so i could go and lose it
maybe with time i'll accept it
i've been trying so hard
to mend the cra-a-a-cks
until there was no solution
[pre?hook]
i've been on my knees for far too long
i think my kneecaps – are – damaged
it's getting hard for
me to keep up with the world's motion
the moment i'm needing a break's the only
moment life fastens
and my prayer now sounds different
they are on a different cadence
and i know you said with
hardships comes ease
god i've been patient
[hook]
if you only were
in my pockets
then i draw you
out and tell you
how bad it is
give you an insight
about how a human
feels
if you only were
in my pockets
(if only)
(if only)
(if only)
[verse]
i'd spill ink on my diary
so dark i wonder will
i be judged on what you read?
if you got a glimpse
of the heresy on these pages
my diary would be kept
in the deepest vaults of the vatican
would it make me an abomination
'cause i ripped a little girl
will there be no room for repentance
'cause i got blood on my hands?
i got people wondering what
witchcraft is coming out my mouth
'cause i'm mouthing nonsense
i don't expect them to get it
'cause it's things only a pocket god
will understand

Fade to Grey
Morning comes and wakes
The sun sends out its rays
The room is filled with light
But I still fade to grey
I shuffle up and start the day
The decaf doesn’t have a say
I walk the dog, amidst the fog
And I still fade to grey
I miss seeing the stars in the sky
They used to wink at me
As if whispering secrets
Long forgotten
I take the call, my voice a crawl
While laying on the floor
Pretending comes so naturally
It’s now part of the score
But deep inside I know the truth
That people have been seeing
The charm that was there in youth
Replaced by heavy being
I miss seeing the stars in the sky
They used to wink at me
As if whispering secrets
Long forgotten
Remind myself of that sky blue
That used to bright my eyes
The trees, the grass, the morning dew
Have felt like distant lies
Wonder if I’ll ever fly again
With angels through the heavens
But for now I will remain
I’ll make my home in presence
I miss seeing the stars in the sky
They used to wink at me
As if whispering secrets
Long forgotten
I spent the weekend at the shore
And went out for a stroll
I dipped my feet and yearned for more
The moonlight touched my soul
I raised my eyes to look above
The skies were filled with stars
The stars reached out, I felt the love
They brushed against my scars
The stars reached out, I felt the love
They brushed against my scars
The sun sends out its rays
The room is filled with light
But I still fade to grey
I shuffle up and start the day
The decaf doesn’t have a say

Starlight
stars(×2)
everyone tryna to get close to the clouds
Clouds(×2)
How can you achieve your dreams if you keep letting them steams bring you down
Stop looking and start shining
Bring down the veil and show them
Cause you're the starlight
Star light
You've always been one
And you're called to be more!!!
(Cause you're a star light,
Star light )×2
Why couldn't it just remain the same?
Why did you have to break it whole
Oh oh oh!!
Oh oh oh oh
We've got it stop
We've got to make a change
We've to be light
Cause we are starlight
everyone tryna to get close to the clouds
Clouds(×2)
How can you achieve your dreams if you keep letting them steams bring you down
Stop looking and start shining
Bring down the veil and show them
Cause you're the starlight
Star light

Perfect Gift
Verse 1]
I knew you were the one when you stepped into the room
You took my breath away
When I looked into your eyes, I see no disguise
I knew then right away
[Chorus]
You fill my life, you bring me joy
You are the half that makes me whole again
I don't know what I'd do if I never met you
We would be worlds apart
[Verse 2]
You're my best friend, true love will never end
My angel, my match made in heaven
The best love story ever told, more precious than gold
True love we can't deny
[Chorus 2]
You changed my life in every way
I love you more and more and more each day
I don't know what I'd do if I ever lose you
We would be worlds apart
[Bridge]
Be my life forever
[Outro]
My perfect gift
You changed my life in every way
I don't know what I'd do if I never met you
We would be worlds apart
I knew you were the one when you stepped into the room

Pas assez
Tu disais que j’étais pas assez
Pas assez riche
Pas assez carré
Tu comptais tout
Même mes défauts
Tu cochais des cases sur ma peau
Mais quand je t’aimais sans calculer
C’est toi qui voulais t’échapper
J’ai vu ton cœur faire ses valises
Avant même que tu me les dises
J’ai donné mon âme sans contrat
Toi tu pensais déjà à un autre bras
Tu changeais d’plan
Tu changeais d’voix
Comme si j’étais qu’un banc d’essai pour toi
Mais l’amour vrai ne se remplace pas
Un jour tu comprendras ça
Quand tu verras qu’aucun regard
T’aimera comme je l’faisais
Trop tard (oh-oh)
Tu disais “on verra plus tardâ€
Mais plus tard
T’avais déjà pris l’train du départ
T’avais mis mon numéro en silence
Pendant que j’criais dans l’absence
J’me refais le film
Les soirées
Tes messages lus
Jamais envoyés
Tu voulais tout
Sauf mes blessures
Tu voulais le corps
Pas le futur
J’ai donné mon âme sans contrat

Un jour tu chercheras mon prénom
Dans un parfum
Dans une chanson
Tu t’rappelleras comment j’pardonnais

I'm okay
When you say your okay
I know you don't mean it
Cause boy have I seen it
The look in your eyes
You're telling me lies
So when I said it's over
I just got colder
Cause boy you were my
Warmth, my breath, my storm
I wish I could stay
But instead I had to say
Goodbye
I got too good at goodbyes
What is a twelve year old to do?
When trust is taken and she's played for a fool
When her body no longer belongs to her and she becomes a tool
What is a child to do when her youth is taken by a man
A man she knows
And how does she trust again?
No more of that no more
No I can't lie anymore
This pain this sore
It stays in my core
Should I lie more?
I can't lie more.
Should I lie more?
I can't lie more.
Should I lie more?
I can't lie more.
Boy do you see it
That when I say I'm okay I can't mean it
When I smile so bright
Nothing's alright
Nothing is as it seems
Cause when I say I'm alright I don't mean it
That's how I know when you don't mean it
Cause I've been there too
In the shadows full of blue
Boy you gave me something new
But now I don't know of it was true
I know you don't mean it
Cause boy have I seen it
The look in your eyes
You're telling me lies
So when I said it's over

Stolen
They drew the borders with a heavy pen
Rewriting rules we’ll have to break again
A quiet trauma that they don't acknowledge
Behind the walls of their systemic knowledge
They lock the doors and call it regulation
My home was stolen for generations

Stolen by the well-intentioned hands
By distant voices making cold demands
"It was for our own good," they tell us slow
As if they knew the things we used to know
With paper, ink, and a clinical smile
They made what I do illegal for a while

And now the beauty is gone
Yeah, the love is gone
The landscape shifts underneath the dawn
I need to heal from it all
To find the strength to carry on
But my home is gone
Rewriting rules we’ll have to break again
A quiet trauma that they don't acknowledge
Behind the walls of their systemic knowledge
They lock the doors and call it regulation
My home was stolen for generations

Dancing in the trees
When you come to plant me,
under bracken fiery red.
Do not mourn for long, although
I know my bodies dead.
I will feed into this cycle
of nature that is wild
so I’ll be there in the moment
as a carefree happy child.
I’ll be dancing on the breeze
That lilts through trees of green,
Wandering the mountains
A life of evergreen.
although we can’t now touch,
Don’t you cry for me
Ill be swaying in the tall trees
Wild……wild and free
I’ll weep as gentle leaves
that fill the saddest eyes
Drown in purple colour sunsets
I’ll fill the biggest skies
So, sit amongst the hillside,
catch rain upon your face
because here as part of nature
I’m in a wild and wonderous place.
I’ll be dancing on the breeze
That lilts through trees of green,
Wandering the mountains
A life of evergreen.
although we can’t now touch,
Don’t you cry for me
Ill be swaying in the tall trees
Wild……wild and free
Bridge
Winters womb, winters womb
No tomb, no tomb
Here there is so much room
I’ll be growing in the springtime,
in summer I will bloom,
reflect with you in autumn mists,
then return to winters womb.
I’ll be dancing on the breeze
That lilts through trees of green,
Wandering the mountains
A life of evergreen.

déjà rêvé
Verse 1
It's the end of the year
Persephone's wish for our fallout to commence forever here
For the lonesome period
A stable time, unclear
A lesson of truths, and wishing that I could picture your face
Believe me, I'm not that way
Pre Chorus
And would
Would you hold on to the memories that we once shared?
That we once wanted
And could
Could you believe that I am no longer within my past?
More so, I'm on the right path but
Chorus
Everything changes when you're underneath
I could conjure up a dream, everlasting
Where we'd be together, a moment in time
But you're not around for the hope I can't find
I try to believe that it's all for the better
A painful reminder that I'm just untethered
A constant in time, something I can't construct
But we're passing by like a dream that I lost with you
With me
Déjà vu or déjà rêvé
Verse 2
I watch from the sky
A tainted perception from behind a lens coated in mystery
Dissociating from here
Was I ever right?
I recall your image, but in a matter of seconds you fade
Am I even awake?
Pre Chorus
And would
Would I be able to materialize you within my dreams?
Or would I hit reality
And could
Could it just be that you were something I had to create?
To unseal my own fate, cause
Chorus
Everything changes when you're underneath
I could conjure up a dream, everlasting
Where we'd be together, a moment in time
But you're not around for the hope I can't find
I try to assemble a world in my mind
Where you might be real and not destined a lie
A figure of speech, something I can't construct
But we're falling free like a dream that's I've lost with you
With me
Déjà vu or déjà rêvé
Bridge
I can see you walking towards the night
I can see you walking towards the light
I can feel you're no longer in my life
I can't see you no further with my eyes
I can see you walking towards the night
I can see you walking towards the light
I can feel you're no longer in my life
I can't see you no further with my eyes
Outro
Hold me, soothe me, love me safely
I've been hoping, I've been waiting
I've been longing for your touch
I wish that we could be in love
Hold me, soothe me, love me gently
I've been waiting for a century
I'm broken, broken, broken still
I've been hoping, hoping that you're real
It's the end of the year
Persephone's wish for our fallout to commence forever here

I try to believe that it's all for the better
A painful reminder that I'm just untethered
A constant in time, something I can't construct
But we're passing by like a dream that I lost with you
With me
Déjà vu or déjà rêvé
Verse 2
I watch from the sky
A tainted perception from behind a lens coated in mystery
Dissociating from here
Was I ever right?
I recall your image, but in a matter of seconds you fade
Am I even awake?
Pre Chorus
And would
Would I be able to materialize you within my dreams?
Or would I hit reality
And could
Could it just be that you were something I had to create?
To unseal my own fate, cause
Chorus
Everything changes when you're underneath
I could conjure up a dream, everlasting
Where we'd be together, a moment in time
But you're not around for the hope I can't find
I try to assemble a world in my mind
Where you might be real and not destined a lie
A figure of speech, something I can't construct
But we're falling free like a dream that's I've lost with you
With me
Déjà vu or déjà rêvé
Bridge
I can see you walking towards the night
I can see you walking towards the light
I can feel you're no longer in my life
I can't see you no further with my eyes
I can see you walking towards the night
I can see you walking towards the light
I can feel you're no longer in my life
I can't see you no further with my eyes
Outro
Hold me, soothe me, love me safely
I've been hoping, I've been waiting
I've been longing for your touch
I wish that we could be in love
Hold me, soothe me, love me gently
I've been waiting for a century
I'm broken, broken, broken still
I've been hoping, hoping that you're real
Going on a Wing
I'm unfolding as I'm going,
and I'm going on a wing.
Like an origami plane,
that's floating on the wind
I don't stop to ask directions,
I don't stop to eat a thing.
I'm unfolding as I'm going
and I'm going on a wing
and I'm going on a wing.
Like an origami plane,
that's floating on the wind
I don't stop to ask directions,
I don't stop to eat a thing.
I'm unfolding as I'm going
and I'm going on a wing
Just a word, Mother
[Verse I]
Many died yesterday. Some died today.
Yet here I am waiting for tomorrow to come.
Should I be grateful?
Being alive feels like a fool.
[Chorus]
Lucky them.
They don't need to feel the pain of feeling pain.
Damn this life.
How I wish to never been born.
Then, I wouldn't be a burden.
[Verse II]
Everyday, I'm dying.
Doin' nothin'. I can't do anything.
Staring blank at the ceiling.
Haven't started yet expecting an ending.
[Chorus]
Lucky them.
They don't need to feel the pain of feeling nothing.
Lucky me. It's as if I am one of them.
Doin' nothin'. Can't do anything.
Never dead. Just felt like dying.
[Verse III]
I have a lot of things to do.
Responsibilities to face.
A lot of people I bothered.
They thought laziness consumed me.
Then, let me tell you.
[Hook]
My mother once cried to my sister.
"If you feel hurt, run to your mother."
She will do everything,
Will do anything just to comfort her.
(Does that applied to me to!?)
Will you do everything?
Just say anything, my mother.
[Chorus]
Cuz, many died yesterday.
Some while waiting a word of a mother.
Lucky them.
There's no longer need for them to feel the pain of feeling nothing.
They are already in a world full of feelings.
Lucky them.
[Pre-outro]
My mother once cried to my sister.
"Do whatever you want. Mama, will be your supporter."
(Does it applied to me too?)
Does that applied to me too!?
Mother, does your word applied to me too?
[Outro]
Cuz, I've done something you wouldn't understand.
So, I'll just wait for tomorrow to be done.
Then, I will be grateful.
Cuz, writing this song already made me a fool.
Many died yesterday. Some died today.
Yet here I am waiting for tomorrow to come.
Should I be grateful?
Being alive feels like a fool.

Black Cherry Tree (explicit)
(Verse 1)
I’ve grown to lose control
Of these hands of cherries
Chasing flying songbirds of love
‘Cause you painted me a portrait,
Skylight eyes and blossoming kisses
Before the brushstrokes turned into storms
(Chorus)
You stripped my bark, you watched me bleed
You wanted me to be birchwood
But I was a black cherry tree
You wanted a bitch’s wood
But I was a black cherry tree
(Verse 2)
And you can’t put lace ‘round my branches
You can’t chop me down with dignity
If you wanted my blossoms to be white
Why’d you have me become burgundy?
If you wanted my blossoms to be white
Why’d you sew up this life to seam like this?
(Chorus)
You stripped my bark, you watched me bleed
You wanted me to be birchwood
But I was a black cherry tree
You wanted a bitch’s wood
But I was a black cherry tree
(Refrain)
You wanted me to be birchwood
But I was a black cherry tree
You “wanted me lifelongâ€
But “I was never pleasedâ€
(Bridge)
The roots will rot will rot will rot will rot will rot
And I’ll go, I’ll go, I’ll go, I’ll go, I’ll go
But you had this place under control
Why has it turned to a madhouse garden?
You had it under control
But you kept quiet too long
(Instrumental build up)
(Post-Bridge)
You wanted a bitch’s wood, admit it
You wanted a pleasing bitch, admit it
You wanted a bitch’s wood, admit it
You wanted a pleasing bitch
(Chorus)
You stripped my lark, you watched it bleed
But I was a black cherry tree
You wanted me to be birchwood
You wanted a bitch’s wood
But I was a wild breed
You couldn’t wed me in
I’ve grown to lose control
Of these hands of cherries
Chasing flying songbirds of love
‘Cause you painted me a portrait,
Skylight eyes and blossoming kisses
Before the brushstrokes turned into storms

Gemini Girl
Gemini Girl
She with the eyes the color of cold, deep water,
And hair like sun-bleached ice.
Her shirt is the color of the desert floor,
Scrubbed thin by years of wind and dust.
She is not a queen, but a finder of lost things.
She discovered it where the temple walls finally gave up,
Where the red rock split open like a cracked egg.
In a the crypt beneath the dunes,
Where the air had been still and perfect for ages,
It waited.
The obsidian disk has a bronzed eye, wide as the woman's hands.
The etched with concentric rings of stories,
Things that have already been forgotten.
A lion on two legs, a winged human,
A wheel of nameless, fixed stars.
The gems are more than jewels; they are fixed points,
Purple and blue pinpricks of meaning,
A whole galaxy held in a handful of metal.
It is not a map of the ground, but of confluence.
Who made it? Not a single hand.
The precision is too ancient for our tools,
Too alien for our designs, yet too human
In its metaphors.
Perhaps the work of a forgotten conclave,
A blend of earthly stonecraft and star-borne knowledge.
A fusion of civilizations that should not have met.
It belongs neither entirely to the sky,
Nor purely to the earth.
It is a ghost of a fusion.
She holds it like a shield as it reveals it's secret.
Its weight in her palms is an old language.
She is not its maker, but knows it's key,
The first to hear its metal sing again,
The one whose breath is needed
To wake the sleeping geometry.
It means a time is near.
A shifting of the sky and the sand.
She looks out at the dying light,
Her gaze not on the ruins,
But on the invisible lines the disk traces,
Following the path it opens.

Dear Felicity
Dear Felicity, I see you in the mirror
Wearing all my shame like its designer wear
You whisper lies in sugar tones
Like you’re protecting me from being alone
You called me names I never earned
Throw matches at the bridges I’ve burned
But I know you’re just trying to cope
With stories no child should ever be told
I know you’re build from screams
Woven from silence and shattered dreams
But you don't have to bleed to feel alive
We can both learn how to survive
Felicity, its time you knew
You’re not my enemy, you’re broken too
You learned to hurt before you healed
But pains not proof that love ain’t real
Felicity, I'm holding tight
Even when you pick a fight
I see the wounds beneath your rage
We’re turning over a band new page
You say I’m nothing, just a mess
But I've walked barefoot through your emptiness
You build a fortress out of fear
But darling look! We’re still here!
You told me I'd die if I got too close
To anyone who might love me most
But hearts don’t break just ‘cause they beat
And home is found when you halt the retreat
You were a child with no escape
So you became the voice that kept me safe
But safety's not the same as peace
Lets trade the war for sweet relief
Felicity, it's time you knew
You’re not my enemy, just broken too
You learned to fight with sharpened grace
But you don’t have to hide your face
Felicity, come breathe with me
Lets rewrite our history
You don’t have to be so loud
To prove you’ve always made me proud
If love was missing, I’ll give it now
I won’t leave you - I know how
To hold your hand through every scar
You do not have to court the the dark
Felicity, come and dance with me
Lets make melody from memory
We’ve been through hell, but here the truth
I wont give up on me or you
Felicty, I see you dear
You’re voice no longer runs with fear
We’re not broken, just in bloom
Lets weave this pain into our tune
Dear Felicity, please be kind today
You don't have to push me away
The world is softer than you think
Lets take a breath
Lets sink in peace
Wearing all my shame like its designer wear
You whisper lies in sugar tones
Like you’re protecting me from being alone
You called me names I never earned
Throw matches at the bridges I’ve burned

black dot on a sheet of paper
black dot on a sheet of paper
So heartfelt, with liquor in my hand
Headphones on with the saddest song playing
Do it all quick so your real feelings will fade
No matter if it’s pills or drinks or a mix
Just to numb the pain
You do it all
Instead to just accept your fate
Romanticizing the madness
The pressure you’re feeling
It’s all society’s fault
They made you they raised you
Those eyes have been the only one controlled you
But they didn’t put the bottle
In your hand
You’re the one to blame
Instead of fighting back
You let your soul be eaten
Be better, be worthy
Grow that seed until it becomes
The whole field
In this worn out weather
Not even the rain is falling
A mansion covered in dust
Will all it’s treasures forgotten
These notes of fruits, floral and nuts
Is all you have
Romanticizing the madness
The pressure you’re feeling
It’s all society’s fault
They made you they raised you
Those eyes have been the only one controlled you
But they didn’t put the bottle
In your hand
You’re the one to blame
Instead of fighting back
You let your soul be eaten
You write the whole essay
Without mentioning it’s theme
Cause the shame is there
But restriction isn’t
You love it in all this hatred
If it’s damaged
Why even bother to fix it?
The wound will always be there
And as soon as you touch it again
It will bleed like before
Like it’s brand new
So heartfelt, the liquor is in my hand
Headphones on, with the saddest song playing

Our Love's Over
🎶Our love's over, sweetheart , , ,
You lost your place in my heart . . .
Our love now lingers in the past , , ,
Our love proved it could not last . . .
What went wrong? I do wonder . . .
In every song, we wanted forever . . .
Our souls used to sing together . . .
But, all of a sudden, the memories shatter . . .
I found another love just like you did . . .
Our love didn't break, it slowly vanished . . .
I suddenly had the feeling that I can't go on . . .
And, then your words had me giggling and smiling . . .
The thought of leaving you swayed , , ,
until it reached your own heart . . .
In my heart, a new melody played , , ,
one that didn't involve you in my heart . . .
Now, we still care, but like it was before . . .
Our love didn't flare, it flickered and tore . . .
Our love's over, moonshine , , ,
Oh, that I can't call you . . .
You're no longer mine , , ,
I am no longer yours . . .🎶

RELIQUARY
[Chorus]
I live between the beats
In arteries of silence
The locked chambers
Hold in trust my love
[Verse 1]
I have prayed for
My veil of ignorance to be lifted
Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani
Leaving me a living crucible
To accept your sacred gift
To save me
[Verse 2]
Your chalice is my holy grail
An eternity on the waiting list
To be one of eight owners
Gifted life by your fate
[Verse 3]
They say surgery went well
Yet I feel unwell
Like those who loved you
I have come to know Charon's hell
[Verse 4]
The soul price
You paid the ferryman
Now I hold the repair bill
One I can never repay
[Bridge]
I have become
A living reliquary
Of you
[Chorus]
I live between the beats
In arteries of silence
The chambers exposed
I hold in trust your love
[Outro]
There in the silence
I listen to this shared heart
Living to hear you say
I am glad
You have become
A living reliquary
Of me

For the donors. For the recipients. For those who loved them.
About Reliquary
A heart transplant (or any transplant), told from the perspective of the recipient. The recipient often can carry guilt knowing what it cost -- someone who passed away so they could live.
However, People signed their donor cards in case of their death. So the gift of life they share is done with love. That is why, at the end of this lyric, I gave voice to the donor.
I am glad
You have become
A living reliquary
Of me
Reliquary: a container built to hold something sacred. A saint's bone. A fragment of the true cross. Here: a human body holding another person's beating heart.
Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani: Christ's words from the cross. "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" The recipient's darkest moment alive, and not always sure they deserved to be.
Charon, the ferryman of Greek mythology, who carries the dead across the river Styx. The donor paid him for another to live.
Eight owners: a single donor can gift life to up to eight recipients.
Living crucible: a vessel built to contain something that transforms under heat. The recipient isn't just healed. They're changed for all time in multiple ways.

without us
Missing you is hard it seems
Meeting only in my dreams
Amazed to be again with you
Waking to find that it’s not true
Thoughts wonder often how you do
Do you miss me like I miss you
Do you long to be as we
And ponder why this was to be
When I look up in search of you
Do you look down and see me too
Day to day you’re always there
Not close enough it seems not fair
Selfish thoughts of missing you
Forgetting you may miss me too
Unravelled has become our splice
To meet again could hold no price
Think not about you days are few
But is it just as hard for you
And watch in envy the things I do
Do you miss me more than I miss you
Can answer not the questions we
Of how things turned out to be
Change we can’t the days that pass
Great shame our time was not to last
To short it was and now its gone
Good times we had but just not long
Now days are full of missing you
Wishing only dreams come true
Meeting only in my dreams
Amazed to be again with you
Waking to find that it’s not true
Thoughts wonder often how you do
Do you miss me like I miss you

TASTE
*** TASTE ***
My memories are stuck in grade four,
They remind me of a strange taste.
I recall how in art class I asked you,
What was that on your hand?
And you said it was white glue.
Sally said,
Do you know what glue and you have in common?
You both are appealing to me.
Her white lips smiled at me.
I hate to admit it, but I wanted a taste.
Not of the glue, stupid.
You know, I have to hand it to her,
Things like that stick with you.
And to this day, Sally,
I've never met anyone else like you,
Let alone a girl who liked to eat glue.
I can't say I wasn't curious when she said,
This school has the best paste.
If you keep my little secret,
When it dries on my hand, I'll peel it.
And Johnny, I'll let you have a taste.
Last week… I met my old classmate, Sam,
Here at our local bowling alley.
And we reminisced about old times.
I asked if he remembered Sally.
If you mean Snow White Sally,
I heard she works at a glue factory.
And I almost fell from my chair,
When he smiled and winked at me.
Did she ever ask you?
Do you know what glue and you have in common?
We both agreed,
White lips are an acquired taste.

What If's and Could've Beens
[Verse]
“What if†thoughts greet me in morning dew
Didn’t know, “a good thing when I had it†was true
My heart didn’t understand the magnitude
of what true regret can really do
[pre-chorus]
Once the sun rises, it greets with goodbyes
What if’s and could’ve beens replaying in my mind
[chorus]
But I can love you at night
And see you in my dreams
Where I’m not lonely or quiet
Or filled with the what if’s and could’ve beens
[Verse]
I put my heart on hold, afraid it would get fractured
But I ended in a lonely place, my heart, never captured
So now I long for our long lost laughter
Rereading the pages from my favorite chapter
[pre-chorus]
Once the sun rises, it greets with goodbyes
The what if’s and could’ve beens laying by my side
[chorus]
But I can love you at night
And meet you in my dreams
So life’s not lonely or quiet
Or filled with the what if’s and could’ve beens
[Bridge]
The biggest cliche was my naivety
I only realized my love after you’d moved away.
Wish I’d said something and asked you stay
The could’ve been from things we never say
[pre-chorus]
Once the sun rises, it greets with goodbyes
The what if’s and could’ve beens laying by my side
[chorus]
But I can love you at night
And see you in my dreams
Where I’m not lonely or quiet
Or filled with the what if’s and could’ve beens

She leaves no trace
When the moon is hidden and the town’s asleep
She heads out to the woods till it’s tangled and deep
Lending her ear to the voice that’s never fake
Her limbs turn to lichen, her mind is a lake
There’s no use in looking for her hiding place
She leaves no trace
In an old world city she has you hunting for clues
By a secret door you spot her white tennis shoes
Down a ceiling beam dangle her ropes
To strangle your blues and stir up your hopes
Her whip makes no mark that her lips won’t erase
She leaves no trace
Her father was a hunter, she was his only son
King of courtyard scuffles, handy with the gun
When her favourite hound got terminally ill
Dad said: keep your eyes open and your heart still
There is no pain that death won’t outpace
She leaves no trace
If you be her flower, she’ll guard you inside
Through petrified fields as the seasons collide
She will frown and see through you and pull you close
But you’d better not ask where she comes and she goes
Her heart is a hawk that doesn’t give chase
She leaves no trace
You might have met her on her morning walk
Single mother by choice, dislikes small talk
She teaches your kids, lives in the flat next door
Buys bell-bottom jeans at the local store
Sometimes the absolute wears a plain face
She leaves no trace
She heads out to the woods till it’s tangled and deep
Lending her ear to the voice that’s never fake
Her limbs turn to lichen, her mind is a lake
There’s no use in looking for her hiding place
