In our first edition of 'Check You Out' we chatted to Carol Sparrow, one of our most successful collaborators, with 25 collaborations!
Carol told us about her positive experiences of using Verse-Chorus, which was fantastic to hear! I know this left you wanting to know lots more about Carol's fantastic array of successful collaborations!
Well Verse-Chorus is not one for leaving pleas unanswered! Carol has very kindly agreed to talk more to us about her collaborations, specifically, a few of her favourite ones!

Can you tell us, from the array of collaborations you have achieved with Verse-Chorus, which have really stood out to you and why?
Hello everyone, well there are a lot to choose from, but if I was to pick I would say these are my favourites so far...
Writing about personal experiences
Sometimes lyrics come from personal experiences, and the emotions they draw from within us. I wrote the Lyrics to a song which I called Super Hero about my sister and my Dad, who sadly passed away recently.
I collaborated with Larry Magee, a Verse-Chorus member, who together with the voice of one of the Tuten Brothers, turned my words into a song of which I am very proud of!
When just 1 person is not enough!
Sometimes I need a number of talented people to help bring my words to life. I am very pleased Verse-Chorus enables these collaborations to take place!
I have continued to collaborate with Larry Magee who has expertly produced some of my favourites Crazy Feeling, Desire, Feel The Need, Rebel Love (a collaboration with fellow Verse-Chorus member Carol Chalk), and last but not least, Blame it on the Moonshine. By the way, all of these songs are brilliantly sang by Liz Lachmar.
New opportunities arise from collaborations at Verse-Chorus!
One of my most successful collaboration's was with fellow Verse-Chorus member Debbie Bongiovanni who wrote the lyrics for The Tears in my Eyes, I made some changes to the words and then sent it to MA Productions, a Verse-Chorus member, who I am also collaborating with. MA Productions produced it and it is now on You Tube - check it out for yourself!
Current collaborations
I have lots of ideas for future collaborations, therefore I am definitely sticking with Verse-Chorus to find these opportunities!
Currently I am collaborating with Songslingers, another Verse-Chorus member. Together we have created a number of songs including Mississippi Blues, Don't Blame Me, What's The Rumour, and Rock Steady Crew, to name but a few!
Would you like to hear my advice?
My advice to you is do not limit yourself to just one collaborator at any one time. Keep being creative and searching out those new collaboration opportunities.
Verse-Chorus is just awesome and by continually adding to their members, they are consistently allowing any one to follow their dreams!
