Genres: Folk, Funk, Indie, Pop, Rock, Singer-Songwriter, Soul
Experience: Professional
Uses AI: Yes
Use of AI: As a collaboration/idea generation tool and as a way of providing me of a "proof of concept" from very rough voice memo recordings and studio demos. My experiments with AI assisting my songwriting process has been a recent one as I have written all my lyrics and compose all of the arrangements of my songs (or have collaborated with other humans) in my 35 years of writing songs pre AI. I never use the output of AI in full or stems in the final song recordings, I always use humans.

I am a singer/songwriter, musician, producer and blogger from Australia. You can find [removed] eventual goal is to write music for sync and gain some sort of publishing deal however, I love helping other songwriters realise their song vision by being that extra pair of ears to their project :)

Use of AI: I get a melody and lyrics and record it on my voice recorder. I then complete the song and record it on Suno.

I write songs in my spare time and have so far written about 8 songs and collaborated on 2 others. I started off writing lyrics but progressed to melodies as I would get tunes in my head. One of my songs has been downloaded on Spotify in Italy a few thousand times and another made the semi finals of the UKSC a few years ago. I haven’t written anything for a few years but am now ready to start again and am looking to collaborate with composers/lyricists to work on joint projects. Would love...
