I must have been around twenty four fresh out of cash and outta hope got canned from my last job 'cause I lacked ambition said my boss while looking at the television so I packed up my bags, said goodbye to the guys Then I went back to the streets looking for a way to survive Oh what could have been if it wasn't for the little things oh, I still got time to figure out what I want from life After a while I turned twenty five and life had already passed me by everyone I knew was ten steps ahead of me but not one of them was where I wanted to be they all carried on in so many directions I couldn't catch them without some motivation Oh what could have been if it wasn't for the little things oh, I still got time to figure out what I want from life Before I knew it I was twenty six living a life I didn't pick my friends were then strangers I never got to meet I'd like to think they were OK without me I found a job I hated but, hey, it did pay and the days wasted away as my hair turned to grey Oh, what could have been if it wasn't for the little things oh, I still got time to figure out what I want from life Now here I am, too old at twenty seven for it to be cute that I am still a rebel but I will not accept that there's no more to life than just working everyday in a senseless grind so excuse me if you will or don't if you won´t but I'm not gonna stop trying to break these bonds Oh, what could have been if it wasn't for the little things oh, I still got time to figure out what I want from life Yeah, I still got time to figure out what I want from life Yeah, I still got time to figure out what I want from life
