DescriptionI've been writing for as long as I can remember. I use songs to express myself and share my life experiences in a way that I hope speaks to others. I have over 40 completed pieces with original lyrics and melodies. I can also write new lyrics for existing instrumentals. My songs span a variety of genres and topics. However, I especially enjoy melodies that use minor keys and introspective themes. Some of my favorite artists/writers are Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ed Sheeran, and Maisie Peters. I have no experience in the industry, just a love for music. Im not the strongest singer or musician so I'm looking to collaborate with anyone -- singers, producers, musicians--that can help bring my lyrics to life. I have no desire to be the star of the show I only want to help make music that other people can enjoy.
Dreams & AmbitionsMy wildest dream would be to write lyrics for indpenedent artists, bands, or movie soundtracks. When I'm feeling sad or overwhelmed I turn on one of my favorite songs full blast, sing off-key, and dance it out. I want something I've helped create to be that song for someone else. I'd love to find the right person (or people) to make that dream a reality. I'm endlessly impressed by creative duos in the music industry who combine their strengths to create a masterpiece. Such as Ryan Lewis and Macklemore, Billie Eilish and Finneas, or Elton John and Bernie Taupin. I'm hoping to find something similar.
EquipmentI have modest recording equipment and editing software. Along with a basic knowledge of music editing.

V1: I must admit They are hard to ignore Never seen that kind Of love before I can see it in every Curve of her smile The way his hand lingers Oh just for a while Still I can't help but think How that should have been me Chorus: But I was just the in-betweener The stepping stone for what was meant to be A way for him to get on his feet How was I supposed to know Yeah how was I supposed to know When he was everything to me What do I have to do To love someone And have them love me too V2: I tell myself that I'm all that I need But after him It's too hard to believe How could I lose something That I never had And if it's not love Why's it hurt so bad I can't let him go Thought he was my own *repeat chorus* What do I have to do To find, to find A love like you I don't want to be the in-betweener The stepping stone for what was meant to be A way for him to get on his feet I want him to look at me I need him to look at me And say she's my everything What do I have to do To love someone And have them love me too
