Verse 1: This is an homage to the very best girl, Who more or less created our entire world. We all should be grateful because she gave birth, To each and every one of us. Who? Mother Earth. She gives us the wind and she gives us the trees, She gives us great views and buzzing bees. She gives us from plants that grow, Do we show our gratitude? Sadly no! Chorus: Mother Earth, Mother Earth please forgive us all we don't mean to act like fools, Please give us the courage to do what's right, We know we can do it with you by our side. Verse 2: We dump rubbish in rivers, we dump in the sea. How does this help with sustainability? Nature was known as the great outdoors, Now it's mostly something humanity abhors. We're destroying our world one bit at a time, It's not right, it's awful and should be a crime. We litter and we waste so much food and water, How is this good for our sons and our daughters? Chorus Verse 3: The amount of pollution we leave in the air, It's made our home toxic and it isn't fair. We can all do our bit to reduce risk of harm, To our beloved planet if we stay calm. By reducing carbon footprints and just using bins, We can protect our lives and reduce our sins. Though we are animals and descended from primates, We must do what we can to make a change for our climates. Chorus Verse 4: Mother Earth can be beautiful and also intense, We need to change now, you know it makes sense. Mother Earth is our friend not our enemy it's true, Without her I wouldn't be here and neither would you. So thank you Mother Earth for being there for us all, We must show our gratitude and help her stand tall. I ask you in order to preserve her magnificence, Will you help Mother Earth?
