Description"The Tallulahs" are a father and daughter duo, we have released three singles over the last twelve months (all on the Private Regcords label), the last two making it onto BBC introducing (have a listen on spotify, apple music or youtube). I write the songs (so far) - but, I have quite a few tunes without words that need lyrics, that's where you come in, they need to be literate, and with content that's appropriate for a 23 year old woman, though Tallulah can sing in character. We're based in the north of England. Along side that I have been composing music for the theatre for 30 years - my "gift" is to be able to write in other people's style - if you want a Victorian Music Hall song, if you want a 40's standard, if you want 60's pop, in fact whatever you want - I'm your man. I'm looking for a literate lyricist who understands how songs work, and can tell a story - I need someone who can work outside of narrow definitions of what good music is.
