DescriptionI am a lyricist and a past overall Grand Prize Winner of the UK Songwriting Contest with my lyrics to 'Angels in Disguise' which is currently streaming on all major platforms. I was also invited to write Lyrics for Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee and, although my lyrics were not selected they did reach the last ten to be shortlisted. The composer with whom I normally collaborate is unable to take on any more work at present and I therefore need to find someone else to work with. My two main fields of expertise are Christmas numbers('What is the Magic of Christmas'), also streaming at present, and Love Songs for which I have two excellent sets of lyrics already written. Although I am computer illiterate I prefer all contact to be by email, and would need the person(s) that I work with to have the expertise to produce airplay ready demos for which I would pay all reasonable costs. I am based in the UK in Yorkshire.

Dreams & AmbitionsLike all creative persons I seek recognition for my work. Recognition for me would be to get a number on which I had collaborated into the charts. Utopia would be having a number one hit, but I would settle for one of my Christmas offerings achieving a similar status to 'White Christmas', something that I firmly believe is achievable with the right music. Being relatively new to all of this I am finding that the reality is that the music world is a hard world to break into. I have made progress however. In the two and a half years since I first picked up my pen and started writing lyrics I have become the outright winner of the UK Songwriting Contest and also had lyrics for the Queen's Jubilee reach the first ten to be shortlisted. I'm on a roll and just need a talented (& preferably connected) composer to join me. Is that person you?
