DescriptionHello All! I just stubbled upon this site; I'm thrilled it exists! As of this writing, I'm simply a guitar chord-strummer with limited playing abilities, but I so love creating lyrics! I love writing mostly C&W lyrics and put them with simply 3 to 7 simple chord progressions. So SATISFYING! I think many are good, but I have no objective collaborators or mentors or mastermind alliances to help me create arrangements and much deeply layered music. My goal is no different from most of you on this site: having a burning desire to create meaningful, fun, catchy songs and feel the amazing thrill of people loving and maybe even learning something from hearing our lyrics and music; also reaping the monetary rewards for our best efforts. I currently live in Fresno Ca with my loving bride of 45 years! Bottom line: I've joined this site to find mentors to help me create real songs. Thanks all!

Dreams & AmbitionsThe earthy age of everyone on this site is utterly irrelevant; as is the place where an individual stands when they begin their adventure. Once we celebrate an achievement and dutifully acknowledge our great pleasure and sense of satisfaction afterward, it is imperative to move on. Achievements are springboards for jumping higher and farther forward; it is unproductive and emotionally unhealthy too stand to long in the glow of the stage-lit platform basking in lies of self-admiration. Of everything in the known universe, only human beings have been allowed by our Creator to determine our own worth; to possess control over what we do, who were are, and who we become. That is the most precious, profound gift we will ever receive in this realm! I feel this is a wonderful site and a marvelous tool to raise my lyrical and songwriting skills to whatever level I desire; and allow me to humbly attain appropriate financial rewards for my best efforts.

EquipmentAlthough I play a some guitar, sax and sometimes tinker on the piano, I am a lyricist, not a musician. At this point in my life, I am not very tech savvy and use the bear minimum of technology available this in this day and age. Songs produced with my lyrics depend on developing healthy collaborations with producers, arrangers, professional musicians/vocalists; skills I have not developed. I am learning, I'm a student. I'm grateful and blessed this site provides access to whatever talent I require to bring my lyrics to melodic life. Thank you for visiting.
