DescriptionThis song began as an article for a business magazine about the division of assets after a divorce. The premise was all the things that happened on that faithful day that you walked down the altar and uttered the simple words “I do…”. I was not intending to write a song. It just came off my fingers almost unchanged to as you hear it now. I added a simple melody and had it professionally recorded by a demo company. I am not a musician or a singer, but would love to see this song brought to life by a professional. I think the lyric is powerful and relevant, but this is as far as I can take it.
