DescriptionMusically, I am drawn to/inspired by rock, alternative, grunge, metal, numetal, folk, blues, and a little country. Across genres, I love songs that tell a story. Recently, I have turned to writing lyrics that capture my journey towards mental health recovery. Ideally, I would like to collaborate with alternative rock bands, but I'm open-minded. I'll bring the lyrics, and I'll trust the right person or group to bring them to life.

Past the Break
Genres: Rock
[Verse 1] I got this off my chest Now the room feels thin I came in holding pieces I came in wearing skin The hurt runs hot and heavy I can't map where it ends I'm numb in every corner Still I sit here with my friend [Pre-Chorus] I keep saying I'm okay But my hands still shake I keep calling it a phase But it won't just break My thoughts get loud and ugly Then they crawl right in I hate how deep they cut me I hate where they begin [Chorus] I'm past the point of broken Past the point of pride I'm tired of the leaving Tired of the fight Don't let me go under Don't let me disappear I'm past the point of broken But I'm still here [Verse 2] I'm tired of the funerals Tired of goodbye rain Tired of playing armor Tired of naming pain Tired of feeling burden Tired of taking blame Tired of watching me Turn into my own shame [Pre-Chorus] I want one good morning One honest laugh One warm hand reaching And pulling me back I want to feel my name again In a voice that's kind I want the world to meet me Before it changes my mind [Chorus] I'm past the point of broken Past the point of pride I'm tired of the leaving Tired of the fight Don't let me go under Don't let me disappear I'm past the point of broken But I'm still here [Bridge] If I go quiet, stay If I fold, don't leave If I start to drown again Pull hard on me I don't need a miracle Just a steady hand A dog at my feet And someone who understands [Final Chorus] I'm past the point of broken Past the point of pride I'm tired of the leaving Tired of the fight Don't let me go under Don't let me disappear I'm past the point of broken But I'm still here I'm still here I'm still here I'm still here
