DescriptionI've been taking lyrics seriously since 2020, and now lean towards rock music - Waterparks, Badflower, Hotel Mira. I tend towards autobiographical, honest lyrics. With a BA in Creative Writing, I have a background in words, and it'd be amazing to work with other lyricists and musicians to make my/our words into songs. I'm based near Brighton and open to collaborations.

Dreams & AmbitionsI’d love to one day release some music on streaming services with lyrics that I’ve written. If I’m dreaming big I’d love to find a singer/ songwriter who’s interested in pairing up to work on an EP or record!

necklace

Genres: Rock

The necklace has been passed down through generations
‘Cause you’re greying, but your girls just get younger
This newest blondest iteration threw the chain
And its fake diamonds in your face just yesterday
Screaming “I hate you! And I fucking hate Vegas!”

Which was unfair, ‘cause you’re not a gambler
You didn’t look at the other women, only
Ever had eyes and money and good wine for her
This morning you’re thinking that
“If I bought her Tiffany would we be forever?”
So you buy her a bracelet and she breaks your heart

In Norway in winter they get just hours of darkness
That was before you arrived with your sour expression
You don’t speak the language, but the waiter gets you
So you buy him a drink and resist self reflection
So you buy him a drink, and buy him for a night, hm

It’s easier not to think about what could have been
It’s easier to keep going, going, going
It’s easier not to think
It’s easier not to think
It’s easier not to think

That necklace was meant for a bride
But that life would only be a lie
And the waiter, well, he reminded
You of someone, yeah, just a guy
Forever, always just a guy
And it’s all so nevermind
Life is grey, and fake diamonds
They never really shine, shine, shine

Fake diamonds never really shine
Fake diamonds never really shine
