DescriptionI write songs with traditional structures and an emphasis on well-crafted lyrics and accessible melodies. My favorite songwriters include Jimmy Webb, Mark Knopfler, Ian Anderson, and P.F. Sloan. Although I tend to write in folk and rock styles, my rhumba song “Beseme†(translated and sung in Spanish by Edwin Perez) was featured in the opening scene and closing credits of the major motion picture 16 BLOCKS starring Bruce Willis and Mos Def, and in the film CLEANER starring Samuel L. Jackson, Ed Harris, and Eva Mendes. I play rhythm acoustic guitar, and bass guitar.
