DescriptionI'm Montea. I'm a Brazilian artist based between the UK and Brazil, and I've spent the last six years on the other side of this industry managing artists, directing festivals, and watching closely how music gets made, sold, and wasted. I'm not new to this. I studied at ICMP London, I've worked with a producer in LA, and I understand the difference between an artist with a vision and an artist with a mood board. I have both, but more importantly, I have the former. My sound lives somewhere between Doja Cat's Scarlet and Lana Del Rey dark, cinematic, unapologetically feminine, full of metaphor and wordplay and the kind of specificity that makes a stranger feel like you wrote it about them. I've been writing seriously for months and the material is strong. I know it is. I'm looking for co-writers who can match that standard, not to write for me, but to write with me. I bring concepts, lyrics, and a very clear artistic vision. You bring craft, structure, and the ability to push back when something isn't working. I don't need validation. I need someone who is genuinely good. I'm also open to connecting with producers and mentors who understand that the industry is both broken and full of opportunity, and who know the difference between the two. I won't pay for a proof of concept. A royalty split on something with real commercial potential is worth significantly more than a flat fee on something that goes nowhere. If that makes sense to you, we should talk. If it doesn't, we probably shouldn't.
Use of AIUse AI for Songwriting Exercises, not to write. To know how to write, exercises to get better at story-telling.
