DescriptionHi…My name is Paul Marotto. I live just outside Philadelphia PA. I’ve been writing music and lyrics now for over 25 years. I play many instruments (guitar, bass, piano, drums, etc…. ) and I also sing. I have a professional studio in my basement where I record, mix, master, and release music. I’m interested in writing music for anyone needs a song. You can listen to some of my songs here.

Dreams & AmbitionsI remember the way I felt the first time I heard great music. I immediately thought, “That’s what I want to do with my life”. I wanted to create songs that could actually change the way people felt. And this, in a simple sense, is my goal. Make the best, most meaningful music that anyone’s ever heard.

Equipment I use Cubase as my primary recording program. My go to vocal mics are the Neumann TLM 102 and the Shure SM57. For electric guitar I play a 78 Fender Musicmaster through a secret collection of pedals into a Fender 65 reissue amp and stereo mic it. I also have a Fender Jaguar Bass that I run straight into my Apollo x8p. (UAD) plugins. I’ve got a full size Yamaha MIDI keyboard for piano, effects, and synthetic drums. Everything is recorded mixed and mastered through a 8 inch pair of ADAM Audio monitors or headphones.
