DescriptionI am a senior citizen who likes memorable lyrics, chord structure, and melodies (who doesn’t?). I’ve written a couple of songs - one of them from a woman’s perspective (I was feeling sad and watching too many rom-coms). I want to collaborate with singers and see if anyone likes what I’ve written. I like pop, Motown, Latin beats, and country.
Lyrics
Cinderella slipper
Genres: Pop
Fairytale last night on TV Cinderella, laughing at me But the slipper never fit on me And I don’t believe, I don’t believe Kissing frogs, but I can’t find a prince, They say I’m fine, but I’m not convinced ‘Cause the slipper, never fit on me, And I don’t believe, I don’t believe Just once let me be The one please. If I’m not the one Please just let me be I’ve been in love, but I only got hurt Don’t wanna think that men are just flirts But the slipper never fit on me, and I don’t believe, I don’t believe. I’m not the woman that I’d like to be, chasing dreams, pretending that I believe, But the slipper never fit on me, and I don’t believe, I don’t believe. Just once let me be… Fairytale last night on TV Cinderella, laughing at me But the slipper never fit on me And I don’t believe, I don’t believe. I’ll find them yet, I just cannot forget He’s out there, the future’s not set, Though the slipper never fit on me, I’m gonna believe, I’ve gotta believe.
