I’m a well traveled person whose passion is music despite not being able to play or sing it. I want to carry the memory of my daughter on through songs. She was a singer/ musician who made her first and only [removed] wrote and performed all the songs on it. She was my only child. She passed away 3 years ago. Leaving behind her only daughter who was 3 at the time of her [removed] was 22. I have a large range of life experiences from which I draw in order to paint relatable pictures with lyrics. I can be as sweet as a sugar cane or as sharp as a razor with my words. I can tell a lyrical story that will gut punch you and make you beg for more. I am open and honest and easily accept criticism or suggestions. I’m flexible and fluid but not to a point that kills productivity. I enjoy collaboration and am very easy to work with. I’ve been writing poetry since elementary school. My internal dialogue (the voice in my head) is constantly rhyming. Most every thought I have could easily be a lyric. I can usually come up with a solid rough draft in about 30 minutes. If I need to research and verify facts, that time gets a little longer. But for the most part, it’s a fast process for me. I have the words if you’ve got the music and vocals.
