About
I am in no way an experienced writer. I have always been involved in music one way or another (choirs, musical theater, singer in a band) and music is my therapy. I am always drawn to a song's lyrics and my ability to relate. I started writing to work through some issues and felt like it was something I not only loved to do, but showed some potential. I am a teacher by trade, so this is just something I have done in my free time. While I love to sing along with the radio and can add harmony to just about any song, I have zero ability to compose music. I would love to hear my words as a song. I have messed around with using AI tracks just to see if my words worked with a track and to help me refine the lyrics to flow better, but I find they all sound the same and it doesn't feel authentic. I would love to have the opportunity to work with someone to ensure my very personal words are paired with equally personal music.
