DescriptionBorn in Sunderland, UK and a lifelong music nut. Born in 1956, yes I'm old.....On my 60th birthday my wife bought me a guitar and for the first time in my life tried to create my own music... I found I could write lyrics and eventually passable melodies....I live in Spain now, and after a year or so bashing away on my own I got together with two proper musicians and formed a band, Murder Valley.... we made a crude, home recorded CD. The band played 15 or so gigs before one of the guys left and we folded. I carried on writing and have maybe 20 or 30 songs that I consider good songs. I consider my main strength to be lyrics, I can write words to an existing melody. I have virtually no expertise in recording techniques, and no recording equipment (except my phone). I'd like to pitch my songs, or lyrics, to artists more skillful than myself.
