DescriptionI'm a songwriter based in North Wales (UK), I'm not a performance artist and have no aspiration to be, nor do I really want my songs released under my name, I merely want to focus on my strong points which are writing poinient music/ songs that have catchy melodies and relatable lyrics, and let other artists/ bands take them to commercial market. My main instrument is the guitar which I'm quite adept on, although I have picked up keyboards along the way. My weak point is the vocals as I only have a narrow range, which limits the dynamics of the vocals and restricts my songs to sounding the same. Which is the reason I have joined, ideally looking for vocalists who can elevate my songs to the next level and potentially make them more appealing to the commercial market. Another weak point of mine is lyrics, I can write, but too often I tend to stick to 'story mode' and don't think outside the box using metaphors and analogies, so I'd be happy to reach out to lyricists to assist in polishing up my grammar and adding a bit of cryptic wording into my songs.
Dreams & AmbitionsI'm not after the holy grail, far from it, I am realistic enough to know how so cutthroat competitive the industry is . So I've set my goals lower and aim to have a couple of my songs selected for Sync Placement, obviously if an Indie/ Mainstream artist want my tracks then yeah, amazing, luck does play its part sometimes too, right time, right place etc. We'll see, either way, at least I'll have fun along the way.

This song was literally conceived from a bottle of Rioja, half way through the bottle I had a beat come to me, and as I was watching a film, there was a clip with this guy sat on a bench with his work colleague talking about the same old mundane Friday lunchtime, anyway, one of the guys goes back to the office, while the other guy is sat on the bench muttering to himself "you'll not miss anything mate" or words to that effect, and then the next thing, he's blown away by a gorgeous blonde girl who walks past, so I created the back story from that. The next day I had the guitars sorted, the bassline followed, then came the synths, the lyrics took a couple of goes but I got there in the end, this received a "Best Of" Song U award which I am quite chuffed about.
