DescriptionLyricist looking for musician/singer with soul. I use to write lyrics years ago, but then life happened and I haven't written a word in 26 years. The emotions are the same but with a little more nuance and a sprinkle (but only a sprinkle) of wisdom. I write from the heart about what's in it. Like anyone in their sixties, I've had ups and downs; and suffered from pain and pride. But after a few bruises and a heaping helping of humility, I'm coming out of the other side...looking for someway to be present and whole. I'm hoping this can be a way to do that.

Dreams & AmbitionsI'm a retired veterinarian. Years ago, I wrote a number or songs prior to having kids and working 6+ days a week. Now in retirement, I'd like blow some of the dust off of those ideas I stored long ago and see what might be lurking underneath. I've got almost three decades of happenings that have informed the person I am today. I may have some perspective that may speak to someone, somewhere. I'd like to take a chance on that and see if there is a composer out there who might have some ideas as to how to musically display those ideas. Years ago, I collaborated with a fella on the east coast who put music to some of my lyrics and sang it for himself. It was my understanding that it was well-received when he performed it. It felt pretty good knowing that there was some small crowd somewhere singing along with my silly lyrics. I'd like to have that feeling maybe a time or two more.
