Chorus I’m a weary pilgrim getting through the day Just a weary pilgrim trying to find my way The road has been rough and very long Keep wondering if maybe I went wrong Verse 1 I keep thinking that the end must be near What was I to do with my time here? When the road had choices for me to make Did I chose right or make a mistake? Repeat Chorus Verse 2 I tried to find directions along the way Something to tell me what to do or say But I never understood all I ever found All just words that went round and round Maybe it’s my fault but what I always found was true Paul Simon said more to me than St. Paul could ever do. Repeat Chorus Verse 3 I think of all I met along the way Especially the ones who aren’t here today I remember them all – each and every one Why am I still here and they’re all gone? Are there things that I’m supposed to do Because I have these extra days to use Repeat Chorus Verse 4 Is there a Heaven – is there a Hell?
