DescriptionHi! My name is India :) I’m a lyricist and singer from Pennsylvania who is looking to collaborate with producers, musicians, and songwriters. I’ve been trying to make music of my own, but I’m a bit inexperienced with production. My taste in music is definitely a broad blend, as I grew up listening to The Beatles and Bill Withers, just as I did the Fugees and Kendrick Lamar, and John Mayer. The songs I write more naturally are more indie-acoustic and alternative R&B— but I am open to trying sounds. I'm heavy on the lyrics and keep storytelling as the focus in each of my songs. My music sounds something between a combination of Kali Uchis meets Mazzy Star, or Brandy meets Lana de Rey.

Dreams & AmbitionsCurrently, I am working to gain as much experience as I can as a lyricist and vocalist, and organic collaboration is the goal. I am open to experimenting with other artists and musicians, bouncing ideas back and forth, and truly making some songs with meaning. In terms of short-term goals, I would like to begin creating my first EP toward the end of this year. In terms of education, I am also studying music production course right now to give me a sturdier background in mixing and composing songs.
