About
Hey, I'm YØDËR, an independent artist from France.
I'm currently working on my first album, XVI, and figuring out exactly what I want my sound to become. I know the kind of music I want to make, but I also know there's a lot I haven't explored yet. That's part of what makes this exciting to me.
I grew up listening to artists who weren't afraid to change direction or make something people didn't immediately understand. Kanye West, JPEGMAFIA, Death Grips, and a lot of smaller underground artists have influenced the way I think about music.
I'm especially drawn to unusual production, distorted sounds, unexpected melodies and songs that can completely change atmosphere halfway through.
I work with Ableton Live 12, and I enjoy experimenting with arrangements, textures and ideas that might sound strange at first.
I'm still developing as an artist, and I'm not going to pretend I have everything figured out. But I take this project seriously, and I'm willing to put the time into making something I'm genuinely proud of.
When I collaborate, I don't want it to feel like I'm giving someone a list of instructions. I like hearing different perspectives, exchanging unfinished ideas and seeing where they lead. If you think something could sound better, tell me. If you have a completely different idea, I want to hear it.
I'm interested in building connections with people I can keep creating with, not just exchanging verses once and disappearing.
I don't expect perfection or a huge following. I'd much rather meet someone who's passionate about their music, curious about new sounds and willing to experiment.
If we connect creatively, I'd love to see what we can build together.
