Thomas Bingham is a France-based multimedia composer, orchestrator and arranger. Born in Paris and partly raised in New York, he started studying music at the age of 4. He recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Master’s of Music in Scoring for Film, Television and Video Games program at the Berklee College of Music. He has received recognition for his work on film, as a recipient of the Best Original Music award at the 2017 International Special Effects Festival in Montpellier, France for his score on the animated short Yemanja. Before attending Berklee, Thomas studied musicology at the University of Geneva and music theory at the Geneva Haute école de musique. During his time there, he also studied multimedia scoring with Emmanuel Fratianni (Video Games Live, Advent Rising), while working as a concert band conductor and choir accompanist. Classically trained as a pianist, Thomas writes music that draws elements from neo-classical, post-minimal and ambient influences.
Dreams and ambitions:
I aspire to compose music for a variety of different platforms. Even though I tend to write neo-classical and ambient pieces, I am very adaptable to the wishes and wants of any given project. Always looking for collaborations!
