DescriptionI've been writing songs forever. In my early days I had a songwriting partner and we were pretty prolific. I write complete songs musically, and I generally have strong toplines/melodies as well. I can write, and have written lyrics, but it is hard work for me and takes a lot of time (though I'm pretty good - lol). Ultimately I am looking for someone who sings and writes - if you are a keyboardist even better. I am open to also collaborating musically with other songwriters, but not if you don't also come with strong lyric chops. I play guitar (lead and rhythm - I'm good and happy to play on your tracks or help contribute guitar lines to your ideas, etc.) and some keyboards (good enough to get a wash background down). I mostly hear my songs with a female voice (I have generally played in bands with female singers/fronts) but def not opposed to a male singer. My influences are many - buy so is my veto list. I write pop, rock, R&B and country-ish. My studio is pretty streamlined but good enough to get decent demos out there. Here are the scenarios I am looking for: • Songwriter collaboration: As I said above, I write fairly complete songs, but I need someone who can collab with lyrics and sing. Keys very welcome. If you are an aspiring artist looking for material - even better. • Songwriting for artists (established or emerging) • Publishing deal(s): Let's write songs and shop them around!
