DescriptionAbout 40 years ago I was a guy who was gifted in writing silly verse and I had a wife die from brain cancer at the age of ( her age) 32 with a 2 year old son to raise. I was a financial and administrative executive in Hollywood with equal left brain/ right brain. Ambition was to be a game show host. LOL! My neighbor at the time was Trevor Lawrence celebrated Sax player and Motown producer. He sent me to a lady to learn how to write lyrics. So I went through the mourning process writing and then dating began and I wrote. I befriended Bill Baker cast member from HEE HAW and we cowrote For Certain I'm Hurtin' He sings it and I have CD with real country band and needing to convert it to MP# if that's still the right term. Also I have a number of lyrics that I'd like to music [removed] I have listened to couple ads of singers who compose so I am wanting to maybe get enough songs for a singer to do an album even if that is still a good term. I am not up to speed on current distribution methods and everything is monetized. I am also working on my second screenplay a collaboration with an accredited screenwriter which is about my life and if that comes out good I would want to perhaps include a song. All the lyrics were copyrighted back then and the first one is MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY The chorus BUT NOW YOUR GONE AND I MUST GROW; YOUR IN MY HEART AND I'LL ALWAYS KNOW; YOU GAVE TO ME IN A SPECIAL WAY; LOVED YOU MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY! Another of the mourning songs is entitled Work It Through It starts out like this: Losing a love is really tough ;the hurt can be so deep; Your mind can wander on and on; So much that you cannot sleep. Another song is THIS TIME part of the lyric contains "You really must feel in order to heal; There's no way to go around; So you have some fun and play in the sun; Till your feet are back on the ground. And you shed some tears and face your fears on each and every date; And work real hard to soften the scar Of having lost your mate.
