DescriptionI am a longtime songwriter. I actually started writing poetry after I started writing songs, which improved my craft -- i have experience with instruments and have an excellent ear but I cannot sight read notes. I have superior memorization skills. I've written songs that started as a single line, or just a bunch of words. I'm used to working alone, but I'd love to collaborate. I can write for nearly any genre, and am willing to familiarize myself with music outside of my normal tastes to aid in writing for you. I've listened to many genres, from soul and jazz to rock and metal, pop punk and emo and just plain pop, country and crooners, and of course, musical [removed] for singing, I've worked to improve my vocals to begin singing my own songs, as well as covers. I like listening to niche artists like Jhariah, as well as older artists like Nirvana and up and coming pop/r&b like SZA.
