DescriptionHi folks My name's Bob.I'm from Bristol UK. I started to play the acoustic guitar a few years ago, mainly as a vehicle for some "songs" that I'd written many years previously. In fact , when I wrote them I didn't really intend for them to be songs but the words did seem to have a rhythm/bounce and tempo of their own when I read and sang them back to myself,so I regarded them as song lyrics, added a melody and worked out some chords etc.I absolutely love to sing and play my guitar. I have a half decent voice and would regard myself,in guitar terms, as an accomplished beginner.I have never been in a band or performed in public. I do understand that my work can only improve with collaboration of a kind, even it's just for some honest critique, hence me registering on this site. I have a very eclectic musical taste but really want to just produce some really slimmed down basic stuff without too many add-ons or effects but I'm also very open minded and love being surprised.
