DescriptionI’ve always been a pretty shy person. Growing up, I was more comfortable listening and keeping to myself. Music slowly changed that for me. It gave me a way to express things I couldn’t always say and helped me come out of my shell. Over time, it became a big part of who I am and how I connect with people.
Lyrics
I Don’t Feel It Anymore
Genres: Indie, Pop
Verse 1 I woke up late again today Stared at the ceiling, lost my way Got things I know I need to do But I can't find the strength to move I used to wake up with a plan Used to believe that I still could Now I just sit here wondering When everything got this damn hard Pre-Chorus I've been trying, God knows I've tried Putting on a smile I don't feel inside Everybody says, “Just keep going” But what if I don't know where I'm going? Chorus I don't feel it anymore That fire I had before I keep looking for a reason But I can't find one anymore I'm tired of telling myself That tomorrow's gonna change I've been standing in the same place Watching all my hopes fade Verse 2 I gave it everything I had Maybe that's why I ended up this bad Kept pushing when I needed rest Kept saying, “One more time, one more step” Now the nights are getting longer And my head won't let me sleep I've got all these things I'm chasing But I don't know what they mean to me Pre-Chorus And I hate admitting I'm this low 'Cause I don't want nobody to know I just wish somebody could see How hard it is to be me Chorus I don't feel it anymore That fire I had before I keep looking for a reason But I can't find one anymore I'm tired of telling myself That tomorrow's gonna change I've been standing in the same place Watching all my hopes fade Bridge Maybe I'm not broken Maybe I'm just worn down Maybe I don't need the answers Maybe I just need to slow down 'Cause I've been fighting with myself For longer than I can say And honestly, right now I just need to find my way Final Chorus I don't feel it anymore But maybe that's okay Maybe I don't have to have it All figured out today I'm still here, I'm still breathing Even underneath this weight Maybe that's enough for now Maybe tomorrow I'll feel okay Outro I don't know where I'm going I don't know what comes next But I'll leave the light on And see what tomorrow brings.
