DescriptionWell, I am a bit unusual as I am a physician and writing lyrics is a hobby, albeit a serious hobby as I have read many books such as the classic "The Craft of Lyric Writing" by Sheila Davis. I have been writing for many years and have a healthy compendium of melodies/lyrics that I never had the time to find someone with whom to work closely. I am nearing retirement so I have a bit more time. I take my craft very seriously and am open to constructive/collaborative criticism. As a surgeon, I have a thick skin so I will not get upset if a line (s) / melody needs to be altered to create a stronger product. As such, I expect my collaborator to have the same demeanor. With that, I focus primarily on the Country genre with some Contemporary Christian/Gospel and a little Pop. I am looking to develop a fruitful collaboration that can benefit both of us. Lastly, this would not be an exclusive partnership as I fully understand that you may want to work with other people. I hope that sentiment is reciprocal. Lastly, I do have some lyrics that I had made into songs based upon the melody I gave the composer.... I look forward to speaking with whomever wants to take a chance on me. God bless.

Dreams & AmbitionsI believe that I am a talented lyricist who can become even better. I seriously desire a strong collaborative relationship that is symbiotic and mutually beneficial. Since I am older, I think of Elton John and Bernie Taupin, even though my composer does not have to be a professional singer. As long as we can get a final product to market and establish ourselves as a "go-to" team, then my dream will be manifest.
