DescriptionI'm an aspiring novelist but I've recently written quite a few lyrics and I would like to find someone to write the music for them. I would, of course, accept some feedback/tweaks to the lyrics. The dozen+ lyrics so far would mainly suit a Indie or soft rock vibe though I also have one reggae song and one that is more Jazz/Swing. I'm not a musician myself but an avid listener. My favourite bands and acts include The Waterboys, Lloyd Cole, Dire Straits and solo artists like Beth Orton and Heather Nova. I have a substack that gives an outline of some of my songs I did put the link for that on here but on second thoughts that might be against the spirit of this website
Dreams & AmbitionsSimply, I'd like to see if the lyrics I've written would work as songs. I'd like to work either with an artists who write their own music, or a composer, so that we could offer our work to performers. Of course these people would be free to work with others As for paying or charging - seeing the questions below -- well, let's see complete a song or two first and then see what we want to do with it

Use of AII've been using AI to critique my work, but every word in any song I ask for music has come from me I have been using 'Suno' to create music and performance of my work BUT I do that for demos to sanity check my work, I want human composed music for my songs. That's why I'm here. Since I've been on this site, I've noticed I'm in something of a large group in being a lyricist in search of music. I could share my songs in the showcase but I don't want to influence future tune writer
