DescriptionI have a passion for writing sad songs, and it’s something I’ve always found deeply fulfilling. Recently, I’ve been dedicating more time and energy to it, exploring fresh ideas, experimenting with lyrics and melodies, and striving to create something truly heartfelt.

Lyrics

The Mirror Never Knows

Genres: Rap

I stare at the mirror, but it just stares back,
A canvas of questions painted in cracks.
Who am I supposed to be today?
The weight of the world pulls colors away.

I wear their words like a tattered coat,
"Choose a side, you're sinking the boat."
But my heart beats soft, in a rhythm unknown,
A symphony lost, where am I home?

In the night, I call the stars for answers,
But they fall like broken dancers.
A scream in my throat, but it won’t escape,
Caught in a body that feels like a cage.

Tell me, do you see me in the lines of my face?
Or am I a shadow lost in space?
Running from a life I can’t defend,
Caught in a fight that has no end.
The mirror never knows my name,
The mirror never sees my pain.

Tried to stitch my soul with threads of gold,
But the needle slipped and the truth got cold.
Drowned out by whispers, their echoes sharp,
Each one a note in a breaking heart.

I climbed the rooftop at 3 AM,
The city lights blurred, and I called them "friends."
The wind held my tears, whispered “let go,”
For a moment, I thought it might be so.

But as I leaned into the void below,
A voice inside me started to grow.
It wasn’t loud, but it wasn’t weak,
It spoke the words I couldn’t speak.

“Your scars are maps to something real,
Every ache, a truth you feel.
The world might never understand,
But you’re still here—take my hand.”

Tell me, do you see me in the lines of my face?
Or am I a shadow lost in space?
Running from a life I can’t defend,
Caught in a fight that has no end.
The mirror never knows my name,
The mirror never sees my pain.

I stepped back, let the dawn arrive,
Felt the warmth of being alive.
I still don’t know who I’m meant to be,
But the stars are clearer; they’re guiding me.

So here I stand, not whole, not sure,
But breathing still, and that’s the cure.
The mirror might not hold my truth,
But I’ll find it, someday.
