DescriptionOne of the best feelings in the world to me is finding a piece of music that grabs me emotionally and makes me sit down and get into writing the story I hear in it. Knowing I'm in the pocket on this one... And it's really important to me that my words make sense, storywise and grammatically, to a point. Even though I believe every comma & apostrophe are important, I won't hold on to a rule of grammar if it sounds better another way. 😠Story is always more important because we're storytellers. Some of my musical inspirations are composers John Barry (I wrote lyrics for 4 of his movie themes, unrecorded because I haven't confirmed the copyright holder of his estate), Chuck Mangione & Vangelis, and guitar masters Jamie Dupuis, Antoine Dufour, Tobias Rauscher, Jacob Gurevitz & Jesse Cook, plus groups like Guitarra Azul (John Edwards).
Use of AII would very much prefer NOT to use AI, but I've not had much luck finding a composer to work with putting music to my lyrics. I was introduced to AI through a friend who knew someone who was teaching a course in just what I've needed for decades... a way to put music to my lyrics. I've used AI on one song. That song is up on Spotify, along with another song where I did work with a composer. Those songs are SOME LEFTOVER SUN and BORROWED LIGHT. I'm working on another AI assisted song that I wrote lyrics to years ago, much like the first. I'm not a technically inclined person so it can be a challenge a lot of the time.

I use AI (Suno). I'm the lyricist, everything else is AI. But I've been told I produce it also, by what I do on Suno to get the track the way I want it. So I guess in that sense, I'm the producer.
