DescriptionI'm a classically trained musician with a bachelors degree in music. I've played in a church band since I was in Junior High and did anything I possibly could musically in High School. I dropped off after university, but I recently started writing my own music and am desperate to get performing again. My favourite Artists are Fall Out Boy (circa. 2008), Bilmuri, Sleep Token, Dermot Kennedy, and The band CAMINO.

Kindness Kills
Genres: Electronic, Indie, Metal, Pop, Rock, Progessive
[Verse 1] "You’re doing great," they say with smiles Like roses of hate for miles and miles. Polite affirmations, sugar coat fakes, Built you a world that breaks, breaks, breaks. We sell kindness like it’s cocaine, A quick hit, you’re snorting. Light crack in the pipe, cat got you too The truth’s a loaded weapon I don’t dare use. [Pre-Chorus] What’s a prayer if it’s aimless? What’s a lie if it’s painless? What’s a love that can’t be honest? What’s a hope that keeps you powerless? [Chorus] Kindness kills, and you don't know it— Soft words with the edge of a poet. Keep the truth quiet, you let the pain fester, But smiles through the burn won’t make it better. They won’t listen, if you have the will And kindness kills, yeah, kindness kills. [Verse 2] Your gods are mirrors; they reflect what you ask, But the void doesn’t love you, it just lets time pass. "Just be gentle, don’t make it hurt," But how’s that help when you’re choking on dirt? Gold-plated emptiness won’t dig you out, It’s just a polite way to make you drown. It’ll tear you apart, but at least it’s alive. [Pre-Chorus] What’s love when it’s shallow? What’s a light we have low? What’s a dream you don’t follow? What’s a truth no one will swallow? [Chorus] Kindness kills, and you don't know it— Soft words with the edge of a poet. Keep the truth quiet, you let the pain fester, But smiles through the burn won’t make it better. They won’t listen, if you have the will And kindness kills, yeah, kindness kills. [Bridge] It’s not you, it’s me. Nice not to fight, nice to agree. Nice to smile, not to critique, But nicer to say, “You’re killing me.†Too scared of mean, too scared of proud, Too scared to speak, too scared aloud. Holier-than, yeah, that’s the fear— Gag on the truth, death to us here. [Chorus] Kindness kills, and you don't know it— Soft words with the edge of a poet. Keep the truth quiet, you let the pain fester, But smiles through the burn won’t make it better. They won’t listen, if you have the will And kindness kills, yeah, kindness kills. [Outro] Kindness kills, and you don't know it— Soft words with the edge of a poet. Keep the truth quiet, you let the pain fester, But smiles through the burn won’t make it better. They won’t listen, if you have the will And kindness kills, yeah, kindness kills. We’re the wolves and the sheep today Kindness kills in a screwed-up way. And maybe that’s life, or maybe it’s not— But don’t tell me kindness is all we’ve got.
