DescriptionHello, I've been penning strictly rhyme-n-meter poetry since 1962. During the 70s to early 2000s I occasionally paused to write lyrics as my wife and I are major fans of traditional country music. We've been steadfast Jones, Wynette, Haggard, Watson, Twitty, Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Robbins, Travis, AJ, Rhonda Vincent, Underwood, Garth, etc., etc. groupies since childhood. Still are. After multiple - 'I should send my lyrics to someone who can put music to them' - contemplations, today seemed like the perfect day to finally do it. There are 30+ pieces, one of which is a might risque, but for the right contemporary country artist that's likely not a problem! We live in Tiffin, IA. Voice-wise, I was a Tom-Jones-twin back in the 70s thru the 90s and still sound pretty good at 76, but health issues now make it pretty difficult for me to travel. Most of my self published books and even some of my verse can be found on my author's [removed], and I've got a bunch of poetry-mp3s on ebay & Youtube under Mark Stellinga poetry. Right now I'm gonna try to join this site.
