DescriptionHi, I’m Ashlee! I am a singer-songwriter from a tiny, rural town in Oklahoma, that most people have probably never heard of. I am a teenage girl mom. I live on a cattle ranch, and come from a cattle ranching family, but I am the black sheep. ????????♀️I grew up working in the office of my grandparents’ salebarns that they owned for most of my life (20 something of my 35 years). I am super creative, and have a bunch of hobbies (and maybe a touch of ADHD, but it keeps things interesting), I love painting, crocheting, sewing, embroidery, leatherwork, braiding paracord, tie dying, cooking, making jewelry, reading, and making homecoming mums. Music is my passion, and my tastes and influences are pretty eclectic and all over the place. I am a self taught guitarist, but if I’m being totally honest, singing is my most natural talent. But I’m not too shabby on the co-writing songs side, either. My favorite band of all time is Fleetwood Mac! I am a huge Red Dirt junkie, and I love Treaty Oak Revival, The Turnpike Troubadours, Read Southall, Josh Meloy, Noah Bowman, Dexter and the Moonrocks, Tyler Childers, Reckless Kelly, Kat Hasty, Ole 60, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Stoney LaRue, The Great Divide, William Clark Green, and I could literally list bands and artists in this genre that I respect, admire, and feel their music in my soul. I also really love like 90’s grunge/ alternative rock, like Nirvana, Third Eye Blind, Fuel, Candlebox, Marcy Playground, Tracy Chapman, Hootie and the Blowfish, as Matchbox 20, (I could list more but afraid of running out of room), southern rock, like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Creedence Clearwater Revival, etc, and I also really love 1950’s- some current country music, ❤️ Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, Kassi Ashton. I also I write from my own experiences, and have always had a natural way with words, but I’ve been told my voice and the words I write, tend to touch people’s hearts or that they feel them in their souls. I can vibe with nearly anybody.
