DescriptionI’m a bassist, mainly and also play guitar and occasionally try to sing. I’ve been recording full songs and lots of ideas for a couple of years now, having been away from playing music for a while. In the 90s and early 00s I played in and recorded with several unsigned indie rock bands and have since played in a few covers bands. I write songs at home with a small home studio set up. I’m looking for one or more people to write and record with (probably remotely) who would compliment my skills. My influences are very broad, covering rock, indie, punk, pop, alternative, new wave, psychedelic and soul, e.g. The Beatles and Bowie, Love, Nick Drake, The Band, Stax and Atlantic soul, Television, Talk Talk, REM, The Smiths, Pixies, The Stone Roses, The Charlatans, Jeff Buckley, The Verve, Los Planetas, Radiohead, Blur, Arctic Monkeys, Everything Everything, La Luz. And I can’t help but love great disco and funk tunes… despite my alt/indie nature!
