I’m a lyricist and vocalist looking to connect with songwriters, musicians, and producers who are interested in creating original music and building something together. I’m especially interested in writing lyrics for other artists, developing lyrical concepts, contributing lead, backup, or featured vocals, and helping shape the overall sound and emotional direction of a song. I’m open to exploring different genres and creative directions, and I enjoy bringing ideas to life through [removed] father, a musician himself, gave me my love of music. Growing up Puerto Rican, music has always felt like it’s part of my DNA, as it is so deeply rooted in my culture. I’ve had so many musical influences throughout my life that it’s difficult to point to just one person or group. However, Michael Jackson had a particularly meaningful impact on me. Being from Gary, Indiana, the same place he came from, his legacy was a reminder that someone so extraordinary could come from a place like mine. I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember and writing since around age 10. I spent my adolescence singing in choir and performing a cappella, earning three first-place awards at the state level. In the early 2000s, I also had opportunities to sing and record in studios with managers affiliated with Grammy Award-winning artists. My musical influences span R&B, soul, funk, pop, rock, jazz, and electropop. Vocally, I’m drawn to powerful range, soulful emotional expression, intricate riffs and runs, grit, attitude, and strong rhythmic instincts. I love rich harmonies, compelling melodies, and music with groove and personality. R&B, pop R&B, and soul feel most natural to me, but I consider myself a musical chameleon. I can adapt my voice, style, and delivery to suit a wide range of genres, sounds, and creative directions. I’m here for the creativity, the exchange of ideas, and the opportunity to make meaningful music with others.
