DescriptionFrom the time I was a teenager which was quite some time ago, I have loved and have had an affinity for song lyrics and have always felt that lyricists are the unsung (no pun intended) heroes of songwriting. I used to listen to songs on an old cassette player, stopping it at each line to write them down. In this way, I learned the lyrics by heart to hundreds of songs. Lyrics are in my heart and soul and flow through me into song. Now that I have a lot of life experience under my belt including emotional and life examining, and regular career-work has finished, the lyrics are now just oozing out of me, pleading for song. Like my life experience, from growing-up on the streets of Brooklyn, to playing basketball in the Los Angeles ghetto, to living in seven different countries, to working as a movie, television and theater entertainment attorney, my musical style and influences are eclectic and span decades and genres. The driving force behind my writing is to help people; to give people emotional and spiritual comfort and confidence, not that I am perfect, far from it, as I am still a work-in-progress with a lot to learn myself.
