DescriptionI immigrated to America at thirteen and became passionate about American standard music of the 20s, 30s, and 40s, which I’d like to attribute to a previous [removed] the musical TREE OF HOPE, based on the life of Frida Kahlo, I Co- wrote lyrics for CYRANO DE BERGERAC, performed at the Los Angeles Ford [removed] writing lyrics for musical theatre I’ve also written in other styles including Latin Pop, movies and television. I’ve studied lyric writing with Pamela Phillips Oland and Harriet Schock, ASCAP workshops and received mentoring from the late brilliant playwright George Furth. I’ve performed in the musical productions; EVITA, FULGOR Y MUERTE, Public Theatre’s Aguila Real with Angelica Aragon, and in the ensemble of Mccallum’s theatre SOUND OF MUSIC.
