Delete my account
Use this form to ask us to permanently delete your Verse-Chorus account and the personal data associated with it. You don’t need to be able to log in.
In the Verse-Chorus app: open Menu, then Delete my account, and enter your password to confirm. If you have a paid subscription, cancel it first so it does not renew.
What gets deleted
- Your profile — name, location, bio, skills, genres, photo
- Your adverts
- Any lyrics or music you have uploaded
- Your login credentials and account record
What we keep, and for how long
We retain a minimal record of transactions (for tax and accounting) and of any abuse or safety reports for as long as the law requires or our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and abuse applies. These records are not used for any other purpose.
Messages you sent or received are removed from other members’ view when your account is deleted, but they may be kept for safety and abuse prevention. They are not used for any other purpose.
If you hold a paid subscription, cancel it first (in the app or via your app store) so it does not renew.
