Songwriter
Songwriting is Andy's first language. He has been writing songs for most of his life — crafting melodies, building lyrics from scratch, and chasing that elusive moment when a song clicks into place. It's a process he finds both deeply therapeutic and endlessly rewarding.
His songs draw on real life: the people he meets, the stories they carry, the ordinary moments that turn out to be anything but. Andy believes the best lyrics come from genuine human connection — a conversation over coffee, a chance encounter, a feeling you couldn't quite put into words until a melody arrived to carry it.
His writing spans acoustic singer-songwriter territory, melodic pop, and electronic composition. He plays guitar and keyboard, and records in his own purpose-built garden studio — which he constructed himself, from the foundations up, with no prior building experience.
Andy has had music published commercially, and his songs are available to listen to on his YouTube channel — original recordings that showcase the range and craft behind years of dedicated writing.
Under the alias Midnight Watchman, he explores a darker, more atmospheric side of music — textured electronic soundscapes that sit in a different creative space from his song-based work, but draw from the same well of feeling and intention.

With over 20 years of professional development experience — including co-owning a successful agency — Andy has channelled his technical skills into building platforms that exist solely to serve the global songwriting community.
He founded Verse-Chorus, a global platform connecting songwriters, lyricists, and musicians for creative collaboration — and SongwriterLink, a publishing house for lyrics where writers can protect, publish, and promote their words. Both platforms were born directly from his life as a songwriter: tools he wished had existed when he started out.
