Description:
I’m a 22 year old male guitarist, singer, and songwriter and my passion is the classic themes of 20th century pop and rock. everything from the Jazz era up to the 80s. My favorite band is the Beatles, who have inspired most of my original song efforts. I’m generally better as a lyricist than a composer, and I would like to meet someone more melodically inclined whom I can collaborate with. I have made several demo recordings (not studio quality, just me and a guitar) of original and cover versions which I would be happy to share as a starting point. I’m looking for a genuine, long lasting collaboration, not just hiring someone out for one song or something. We would write songs together, maybe start a band, make an album or a few, etc.

Dreams and ambitions:
My dream is to start a band that evokes the feeling of music from the golden age of pop (1920s-1980s), that brings these timeless, classic themes back into today’s music industry, to meet a songwriting partner that can help make this dream a reality.

Sample lyrics:

“Stay Away From That Girl”

(v1)
Stay away from that girl
You know she’ll only break your heart
Stay away from that girl
You know she’ll tear your world apart

(Post-verse 1)
Well you say she’s just a friend but
I’ve seen that look and I know how it ends so

(v2)
Stay away from that girl
She may say she’s the one for you but
Stay away from that girl
She’ll put you down when she’s done with you

(Bridge)
She reeled you in with her first embrace
I know ‘cos once I was in your place
She promised me forever and a day
But soon I found she’d gone astray with you

(v3)
Stay away from that girl
She won’t stick around for very long
Stay away from that girl
She’ll get restless and she’ll move along

(Post-verse 2)
If you want a love to call your own
There’s Jenny, Susan, Pat or Joan but

(Refrain)
Stay away from that girl
Stay away from that girl

(Instrumental)

(Bridge)
She reeled you in with her first embrace
I know ‘cos once I was in your place
She promised me forever and a day
But soon I found she’d gone astray with you

(v4)
Stay away from that girl
If you’re looking for love that’s real
Stay away from that girl
Or soon you’ll know how I feel

(Post-verse 2)
If you want a love to call your own
There’s Jenny, Susan, Pat or Joan but

(Refrain)
Stay away from that girl
Stay away from that girl

(Coda)
Stay away from that girl (you better stay away)
Stay away from that girl (hear the words that I say)
Stay away from that girl
