I'm a songwriter looking to collaborate with other like-minded songwriters.
I'm a lyricist looking for musicians to write music to my lyrics.

Description:
Hello! My name is Amelia and I really enjoy writing songs but hate having nowhere to put them (I can sing but I’m not very good at composing music myself, so I struggle). I would love to help anyone looking for a songwriter to bounce back and forth with!

Dreams and ambitions:
I hope to have my main job be in HR but I aspire to be able to have a job writing on the side. I just want to be featured in other people’s amazing talents.

Sample lyrics:

(The Wall)

[121233 rhyme for verse]
[1212 rhyme for chorus]
[1232 rhyme for bridge]

You are always on my mind,
But I never tried to keep you there.
It’s harder when you’re not in my arms
Or your presence in the air.
I feel guilty if I cry about it, guilty if I don’t.
Swallowing my pride and your name from in my throat.

I was selfish, I’ll admit that,
But you never spoke your mind.
Instead of saying how you felt,
You’d sit down and rewind.
Write in all your playbooks, I never cared to read your notes,
But the last one that you gave me was the last you ever wrote.

(Chorus:)
I thought my whole life would be soaked in your love-
I thought everything we did would be fine.
I thought telling my story would sell like a drug-
But the days have come and gone and they taste strong like wine.

Heartbreak is more like heartburn
Besides the remedies prescribed.
And thank god for home videos
Where your laughter never died.
Memories sewn in pixels, where’d the feels go? Oh my god…
Smoking on the pavement, numbing takes me from my job.

(Bridge:)
I regret nothing…
I regret it all…
You said eternity…
But love can hit a wall!

I thought my whole life would be soaked in your love-
I thought everything we did would be fine!
I thought telling our story would sell like a drug-
But the days have come and gone… and they… they taste like strong wine.
